A few days ago, reports surfaced that the home sold for $70 million. But the Journal's report of a $100 million price tag would make the property the most expensive single family residence in the country.

His property taxes alone will cost more than most Bay Area homes. Good for him for being so successful...but really, who in their right mind could ever possibly need a house so ostenatious and excessive? It's pure excess even by Los Altos Hills' standards.

He's the same dude who had his super-expensive mega yacht docked in SF Bay last summer. We went up there to visit the inlaws and it was all over the news and TV up there and we saw it when we took the cruise across the Bay. He was probably looking at homes! LOL

I googled "Russian Billionaire Yacht San Francisco" and pics of this came up most:

Is that the one your talking about?

I recall another huge Russian yacht in the bay too a while back...forgot his name, it was a Russian Billionaire who lives in the UK.

Also, here is a pic of the front of the house. Pretty.

Ugh, I remember local news wetting its collective pants over that stupid yacht. Ridiculous how Northern California will rip on the celebrity culture down south and then gawk over tech riches that are a thousand times more opulent.
