SWAT team launch dawn raid on family home to collect unpaid student loans
(http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2001010/SWAT-team-launch-dawn-raid-family-home-collect-womans-unpaid-student-loans.html?ito=feeds-newsxml - broken link)
A father was dragged from his home and handcuffed in front of his children by a SWAT team looking for his estranged wife - to collect her unpaid student loans.
A stunned Kenneth Wright had his front door kicked in by the raiding party at 6 am yesterday before being dragged onto his front porch, handcuffed and led to a police car with his three children.

He says he was then detained for six hours while officers looked for his wife - who no longer lives at the house.
Mr Wright was later told by Stockton police that the order to send in the SWAT team came from The U.S. Department of Education who were looking for his estranged wife to collect defaulted loan payments.

The Stockton police chief who authorized the use of officers for the raid should resign.

Well, I'm really glad to see a SWAT team not sitting back and going after those student loan flunkies. They are such a danger to us, more so than the drug dealers the SWAT normally goes after. I feel great that my tax dollars are spent to keep me safe from such dangerous activity LOL

So Don got it wrong? I am so surprised, no raid for a defaulted student loan.

I got it wrong? I don’t think so.
I know this will be tough for you but ... think about it

I posted a link because it is an interesting article, happened in California and with no personal input from me. Did you know the federal department of education conducts raids on private homes? The department of education admitted they conducted the raid but didn't explain why. I find that interesting to say the least. Just because another person posted a counter article from a political website means nothing to me. Who said they have the information correct?

.highnlite will take any and every opportunity to try and discredit anything I post no matter the content. He/she is nothing but a troll and a bad one at that.

I don't fault Don initially. (however his defense after being corrected is lame) I fault the press that is so quick to jump on a story whether they have all the facts or not. Be skeptical on everything you hear/read from the media. They have an agenda.
