We've been hearing good things about Needles -- the lack of crime -- but can you give us more information about day to day life in Needles? (shopping, housing, etc.)

You dropped the last 's' in the name.
If there's a lack of crime, I suspect it's due to the furnace blast of heat that stops all life forms in its path. Better known as "The Forbidden Zone" from "Planet of the Apes".
I suppose the saving grace is the river.
Housing prices on realtor.com.
Standard small-town shopping amenities.

According to the stats found here on CD and elsewhere, Needles is not low crime, in most years it is above the national average. Many folks enjoy the desert setting on the river, but it is not for everyone. Best features might be the recreation associated with the river, and the fact that Needles is only 30 minutes away from the casinos of Laughlin.

Yea! And just lay the fish on the hood of your car and they'll be cooked by the time you get home!
