For some reason, Fort Bragg doesn't seem to come up in many threads. Anyone have any useful info. what it's like to actually live there (local politics, culture, economy, etc.)? Is it mostly "younger"/"older", liberal/conservative? For example, is it anything like Ferndale or Arcata, or more like say, Eureka? And being kinda out there "by its lonesome", what do folks do for local "culture" and entertainment, or even just a Home Depot or Walmart? Thanks!

I'd try the California general forum--it is nowhere near Sacramento, or really any other major city in the state.
