In other words, for all the legions of programmers and engineers in India(and copycats in China), the real innovators are still right here in the United States.

Quote:
India's $60 billion IT outsourcing industry was built on a simple model: Rely on armies of cheap engineers in the South Asian country to be the help desk for the West. Now, though, Indian outsourcers are hiring thousands of expensive engineers and business development specialists in Silicon Valley and nationwide.

The shift in strategy reflects the growing complexity of outsourced work that now requires levels of expertise not widely found in India. It's getting harder to hire the best Indian engineers -- as competition grows from such U.S. giants as Hewlett-Packard (HPQ), IBM and Accenture, which have massive operations there -- and harder to move them overseas. With all that, the outsourcers are finding U.S. employees a much more attractive option.

I don't usually get into these but why should montclair "give it a rest"? If that's the case then tell all those who post the opposite to give it a rest as well. Why can't we have both sides posted?

Until you chimed in, no one mentioned about the partisanship. It's the frequency of creating multiple new threads that often offer very little substance to the forum that I find to be annoying.

On a separate issue, it is obvious to see that both sides are using the good and bad news about California as ammo to get under each other's skin.

Again, you make little sense. The frequency you speak of is worse from the others. Do we really need to go through all the threads? You're smarter than that so I don't think it's necessary.

And with that comment of yours, you expect me to drop the issue.

Please. No one mentioned about the partisanship until you actually chimed with your input about "the others." What others? Do you mean the conservatives who don't share same views as yours?

I pointed out that it was the frequency of threads created by the same poster that have little substance, yet you responded again by mentioning about the others for the second time.

If you're asking me if we should go through every single thread in this forum, I find that to be a waste of time but feel free to do it yourself.

Never said anything of the sort, I think you lack the capacity.

What the hell are you reading dude? I didn't mention anything about parties or partisanship. You did. Also take your own advice regarding those who don't share the same views as yours which is why you first responded to this thread in the first place. If montclair had posted something bashing Ca. you would have been drooling with excitement like you always do chiming in but pretending to be impartial.

Due to City-Data's terms of service, I can't respond to this the way I want. I will just say that I never mentioned anything about "every single thread" genius.

I'm issue driven and I have been pretty consistent about certain issues on this forum. I speak my mind without pandering to the left or to the right.

I guess I struck a nerve.
