So much for all that tax revenue yielding results...

"In reading, California performed worse than all other states and only outscored Washington, D.C"
^ Wonder why that is ... Can't read.. you are pretty much doomed to be able to learn.

Slang? There's no "slang", internet or otherwise ... just a statement that still doesn't make any sense ... either post ... how you get that salaried wage is beyond me ... I wouldn't pay you a dime ... can't control your mind ... maybe you should have whatever animal that bit you checked for rabies.

I believe it. During my years with welfare department, they had a test called "CASAS". It measures the reading and math ability of welfare recipients. Here, for all high school grads, it was about 6th grade level. I could tell if somebody was from Chicago, because they would get 100%.
Its not about skin tone, its about education. But education is not about understanding everybodies problems, its about discipline. We dont have any.

Internet slang (Internet short-hand, netspeak or chatspeak) is a type of slang that Internet users have popularized, and in many cases, have coined. Such terms often originate with the purpose of saving keystrokes. Many people use the same abbreviations in texting and instant messaging, and social networking websites. Acronyms, keyboard symbols and shortened words are often used as methods of abbreviation in Internet slang. New dialects of slang, such as leet or Lolspeak, develop as ingroup memes rather than time savers.

back on topic... mkay, thnx.

If you backed out LAUSD, the numbers would probably be just fine.

LAUSD and SDUSD, being the only districts in the state with over 200K kids, skew the numbers downward from what they'd otherwise be.

That's why there should be a cap on how many kids a school district has before it would be broken up. 100K maximum. Only 3 districts in the entire state would be affected: LAUSD, SDUSD, and LBUSD.

There are plenty of bad districts up here in Nor Cal.

On that note, we can now proudly state we've been bested by the likes of Delaware (the worst of the East Coast school wise, due mostly to a demographic quirk - namely the overarching influence of Wilmington's hood on the state stats of that small state).

Make no school district "too big to fail." I love it!
