It is helpful to note that them liberals don't buy into all that fear stuff, they just go about their lives and have a good time.

It is the "not Liberals" who succumb to the sky is falling routines of the politicians that play on their fears.

Since the primary psychological operant of the "not Liberal" is fear, the politicos know just who to pitch their "be afraid of __________________ they just change what goes in the blanks every once in a while.

Simple. It is theatre being performed on your tv's and radios and internet and publications and rallies and and and ... it's psychology 101 ... and you're the dupe. The game is as old as civilization itself: create crisis mentalities, play both ends against the middle and each other = profit from the dust and distraction.

What is in common is the sense of threat, impending doom, and imminent crisis ... hence we enjoy the delightful artificial persona of Don9. Well played Donnie! *applause* ... sic' 'em tick! *cheers*
Right..............it's all a big plot................by the EVIL corporations...........to mold the minds of millions. Yeah right, just like the SS trust fund has ANYTHING of value in it

Heh ... you're a fun one
I never said anything about a plot ... or evil corporations. It's even much simpler than that. What defines life, compared to, say, a rock, is opportunity ... life is opportunistic activity. A percentage (small-ish) of humanity is better than others at recognizing and seizing opportunities ... it has always been so and always will be. Those who are the most masterful do not much sit around creating elaborate conspiracies -- because they don't have to ... ordinary people do it for them ... ordinary people living in fear and paranoia are suckers for marketing of all kinds ... marketing ideas of boogeymen is a major winner at top of list ... note how much folks love horror flicks? Are you aware that certain persons made fortunes off of both sides of the major wars ... yeah, like WWII? They didn't have to do a whole lot of manipulating to get there. They simply observed the populace and its fears, identified nutcases who could be steered into power who would start conflicts, and then supported them -- on both sides, from behind the scenes ... then sold munitions and fuel and machines like candy -- to both sides.

The Koch brothers are such players and they are doing it now ... doesn't have to be war ... they just see windows of opportunity where people -- like you -- live in rabid fear -- and they leverage it ... that's how the Tea Party came into being. And it's not a vast conspiracy ... it's a pretty small one backed by just a very few very clever players with a whole hell of a lot of money and influence, especially through media manipulation. And they didn't really create it through a conspiracy plan ... they just take advantage of your existing inertia ... that's playing opportunities. Swallowed hook, line, and sinker by millions ... and the millions are mostly people who stand to suffer worse and worse than they already do for these policies they are supporting ... that's masterful opportunism for you The only ones walking away with the plums on their thumbs are the Koch's and kind.

Sucker.

Sorry Donnie, The facts is the facts, fear is why Conservatives are conservatives, if they weren't fearful, they would be liberals.

Look at all the stuff you guys are afraid of.

Commies, liberals, muslims, mexicans, puerto ricans, africans, gangs, enviros, gays, etc, etc, etc.

Oh and regarding the nut whose link you provided, I quit at the part where he said Obama cut SSI, SSI is tied to COLA no politician touches the rate.

That's an hilarious link, Donnie ... loved it ... chuckled over the spelling and grammatical errors in 9 out of the entire 14 paragraphs ... the author is a blogger? I guess anybody can be a blogger ... he's certainly no journalist ... can't even proof-read his own work and catch mistakes I wouldn't have made in the 5th grade.

But listen, that's all superfluous ... attention to communications detail could be overlooked if the content was exceptional in any way other than being consistently erroneous, factually (would you like me to pick it apart for you, my friend? ... complete with verifiable citations? You know about verifiable citations in journalism, don't you? It's the basis of a journalism degree and required in any employment with media of integrity.) Where do you find this stuff? And more importantly: why would you cite such off the wall blogging by an ignoramus nobody as if it were an actual journalistic source?

The guy's a nut case, Donnie ... birds of a feather applies, I guess.
Oh, and yes, I read every word the guy wrote ... looking for something credible.

We have spent the past three years dealing with scare tactic after scare tactic from the liberal democrats. This is all they have and they use it as a primary tool to achieve their socialist goals. Its downright disgusting and a disgrace to our nation. The culture of corruption reeks throughout the progressive liberal movement. The progressive liberals won't be satisfied until our society is total devastated.

Haven't answered my challenge, Donnie ... cite the lies, cite the verifiable sources (at least 2 per lie would be the minimal standard ... but, in your case Don, I'd accept even one ... just, please, no unverified opinion from bloggers accepted ... btw: I don't mind you using opinion pieces, or even blogging opinion -- just as long as it provides factual citations or references.) Otherwise, my esteemed Bagger impersonator, you are just foaming at the mouth ... need some bite to go with the foam, man! Come on! Get to work! You can do it, Don! Dig dig dig!

That quote has many variations and supposed a wide range of people have said it, but it is BS. Especially in the modern context of the anti intellectual, anti science and anti rational tea bagger/conservative. Churchill would call these guys fellow travelers of the Nazis, just like he did with his own extreme right nutcases in Britain, like Lord Haw Haw.

Since there are no socialist goals, (but if there were America could join the modern world) the rest of your points are BS. This is fact Donnie, Conservatives are conservatives because of fear, you might to a little light reading in psychology.. Oh, and they were also the kids who were tattle tales, running to teach anytime they could, just to tattle on another kid.

Remember this donnie, everything you know is wrong.
