My life is pretty darn great actually, but I kind of agree with you, if pretending that I am consumed by crime and shriek in fear(LOL) will keep away haters, then Im game.

I don't really buy that theory because murders have generally gone down as well and those ALWAYS get reported. I always see some people try to use this excuse when crime goes down. I think the aging population and 3 strikes laws have more to do with it than people simply not reporting crime. Yeah property crimes might not get reported as much but violent crimes generally do and they are down.
