This kind of info is usually on the CA gov website. I would think the library would have those ARCO books (did I get that right?) that explain state test requirements, etc...

As "Snort" mentioned, your best bet to start with is to go to the "California DRE" website and read up on the requirements. Then check "Duane Gomer" online for courses required in order to obtain your mortgage broker license.

Thanks for the replies. I ended up calling Kaplan and asking them. First I have to take Real Estate Principles, Real Estate Practice, and an Elective Real Estate Class. Then I need to take the Real Estate Salesperson Exam. Once I got that license, I need to take 20 hours of education in order to take the exam for the Mortgage Originator License.
