This is what we in free western countries call protests. It's too early to say where these protests can lead. They may fizzle out or they could be the beginning of a movement similar to the 1960's except for financial rather than social reasons.
... or the movements of organized labor that began in the mid-1800's (with roots as far back as the 1600's) and continued for a hundred years ...
The Labor Union Movement in America
over which time hundreds of thousands of workers at a time repeatedly stood up repeatedly to oppressive control of industrialists over the working classes.

... or the abolitionist movement before that

... or Women's Suffrage at the turn of the last century

But I would argue that this is also social at root -- not financial. It is centered around undue financial influence on our political system, and how that conditions and strangles us all. But I don't think there is any call here for punishing people for achieving wealth.

This is America. Americans want democracy -- not plutocracy / oligarchy ... and no neo-feudal corporatism.

I agree that it is ultimately a social issue.

The '92 riots were a hoot to watch on TV. Morons destroying the ghetto they lived in to get back at "The Man".
