You can't have entrepreneurs and capitalist in a society you are trying to control.

So, the people with the most means in the global economy (eg "the banking cartel and world elitist") are not traditionally understood as the capitalist class and are definitely not the class exerting most control over the global economy, or its direction. Got it.

Sure they do ... the central banking system around the world is the banking cartel and elitist. They are also world leaders and people in top government positions. Look at Robert Rubin, former secretary of the treasury and former exec at Goldman Sach's and chairman at Citigroup ... look at Henry Paulson ... former secretary of treasury and former ceo of Goldman ... look at Tim Geithner ... current secretary of treasury and former president of the NY fed ... also has many ties to Wall Street ...

So, why would this class promote a system of common ownership of the means of production and cooperative management of the economy? Isn't that antithetical to their interests?

So that class will voluntarily cede its own control over society in order to maintain control over society?

I’m going socratic here because I’m hopeful.

Philip Tetlock of the Univ. of Pennsylvania obviously had it right when he said this about predictions: "Experts have a hard time beating a dart-throwing chimp."

What he got wrong in Don's case was this: "...It's not the sort of victory you're going to brag about."

When I was in college there was much talk of groups that "controled" the world, the Tri Lateral Commission, the Council of Foreign Relations, the Broderbond.

Before that there was the "Learned Elders of Zion"

Before that, the illuminate

Before that, the Knights Templars.

Don probably believes in all of those.

Do you know who owns and runs the Central Banking system throughout the world, including our Federal reserve.

You bring up the CFR. Can you name the top people that run it? Do you know what its purpose is?
