"with up to a half an inch south of Point Conception."

That doesn't sound like a lot of rain.

It won't be enough to KO the drought.

Ten feet of snow needed in the Sierra just to get to seasonal average.

Here in SoCal we've gotten maybe about 5 inches of rain so far this season.

Fairly light rain here most of the day (65 miles north of Sacramento). Nothing very impressive. Needs to rain much harder and longer to make a dent in this new drought (yeah, I said the "D" word).

I read that it rained up to 7 inches on the far north coast, but south of there, not much in the 24 hour totals. SFO had about 0.18, Sacramento had 0.3, San Jose 0.01. I'm sure there will be more, but most of the energy is fizzling out. Hopefully there will be lots of snow in the Sierras.
