While I support mass transit, especially in congested areas like CA....these can sometimes be nothing more than financial boondoggles to enrich cronies wrapped in the guise of "green" etc. in order to get the people behind it.

Oh well, they can all get together and vote on it so they can help sink their state further in debt by letting the common imbecile vote on it rather than using experts.

Just waiting for the pro-HSR folks to call the Auditor an "anti-rail pro-freeway nutjob". Seems to be their M.O. whenever people question the business case behind this boondoggle.

All that money should go into local transit projects.

Something the sane amoung us knew years ago when this train to nowhere project came into being.

I'm telling you folks that are voting in the State Senate District 5 race this fall better get rid of Cathleen Galgiani. She is the head of this hydra and involved in many other crappy money wasting programs in this state.

Toss Galgiani to the curb in November.

Vote for Leroy Ornellas.
