We were just talking about Apple having $40B in cash? WOW that is a huge windfall in profits!

And it seems that Apple has been trading spots with Exxon for a while now as the world's most valuable company.

Where are the politicians threatening to confiscate it like they did with the oil companies?

Does anyone else find it ironic that so many of the people and protesters that rail against corporate greed have Apple products much of the time? It constantly amazes me how many people look up to Steve Jobs as some humanitarian and idolize a corporation that is arguably even greedier than oil companies, who are viewed as evil. Another reason I can't stand Apple lovers.

Blame China's govt for supporting those kinds of labor practices.

I fault companies like Apple for shipping jobs overseas to begin with. -1

And I find it curious that anyone would base another's worth on what kind of computer -- or any other product -- they use
Let's see:
there's folks who hate folks because they be black or yellow or white ...
and there's folks who hate folks because they be Jews or Christians or Muslims or Zoroasters ...
there's hates for homosexuals, bisexuals, transgenders ...
there's hates for people who drive Fords, or Chevy's, or use Apple computers?

Okey-dokey folks ... you can go back in your holes now ...

Must be why I have Apple recruiters contacting me for job prospects? They have a plethora of jobs available. Now only if they would pay a salary to afford Palo Alto living then it would be a fit.

I find this hugely ironic. Apple's profit margins are borderline obscene. Almost every product they sell is manufactured in China, in factories with a 6 day workweek.

Apple's friendly easy to use products are driven by a fierce, take-it-or-leave-it management style that makes the old "mean" Microsoft look like the kindler gentler company.
