I read this also, this morning ... while avoiding news on cat / human interaction ... and I thought to myself: "I wonder who will find a way to bring this up on the California cdf? ... regardless, should turn into a shootin' match ..."

I'm sticking with my "California Open" challenge ... the picnic is ON!

Really? You think that anyone actually has the audacity to argue that people of different races shouldn't be marrying each other?!

I don't see your 'little green man'
Now, you know perfectly well what we've seen pop up on this forum from certain individuals who oppose anything they consider "progressive" ... and then the issue of same-sex marriage will work its way in to the "conversation" ... and then the nuclear weapons will be deployed ...

Meanwhile, I am off to the beach with the dog to play in the breakers, as is our morning habit.

Including mine. And it's a two fer ... we're both interracial ourselves (but different admixtures and different "dominant" racial characteristics).

Eventually, most people will probably look like the Ohlone.

See, why do you have to go there? Now you're just showing off. SOME of us aren't actually back in CA yet. And you just HAD to mix "dog" and "beach" (my two favorite words) in the same sentence, didn't you? Psshhh. I'm off to continue wishing it doesn't snow in MD this weekend.

Actully California was one of the states that had a law prohibiting inter racial marriages struck down by the 1967 Supreme Court decision

I was just saying that i don't think anyone these days, despite the fact that it may make them squirm, would argue against interracial marriage (at least publicly) while gays and lesbians are still fair game to such people.
