Not only do I want to dine there, I want to work there. If my knees could do it, I can't think of anything more delightful (other than my dream dog-friendly gym for those with mobility issues with a local whole foods bar in the business plan that may never be since I can't afford to finance it. Where is Donald Trump when you need him most?).

I'm pretty sure I'd hurt business margin, though, as nothing, other than pups, gets me more enthusiastic than green food. I've been known to see shrubbery and get hungry. lol

I may just have to visit this place. Great article!

Probably for the same reason I love cucumbers and vinegar, but don't like pickles.

Good point. I don't like pea soup unless there's ham or bacon in it.

Split peas are dried peas and then are found to be naturally split once the skin falls off.
I think that there are specific peas used to dry and split .... some green and some more yellow in color.
I'm like you .... i love split pea soup but i'm not crazy for peas although fresh and raw from the garden i do love.

Why do I love tomato ketchup but don't love tomatoes?

There's my vegetable experience with a "nature deficit order."

Most people don't like certain vegetables until they've had them fresh (not canned or frozen) and properly prepared. I can't tell you how many people have sworn up and down that they hated peas, eggplant, brussels sprouts, asparagus, tofu, etc. Then I prepare it fresh and properly for them and they are simply astonished that they like it. (And I'm no chef, but I do know how to cook a mean vegetable (and dessert ).
