Well, hardly anyone. Living in the Ozarks, I have a pretty good idea. But most don't seem to.

I'm surprised Redding,CA area hasn't been specified. Pretty right winged with sleazy transients in the many hotels who charge weekly and monthly rates.

What does redneck or hillbilly have to do with right wing or sleazy transients?

I don't know. Redding reminds me of Kingman, AZ. Lots of sleazy hotels along the main drag as well as meth and alcoholism amongst the transients that stay in such places.

Again, what does redneck have to do with right wing or sleazy transients?

Let me help, I just went to the 2008 election results by county. A quick check showed 18 counties that are predominately redneck that voted blue.
