Why it is right there in your pocket.

Silly question.

It really is not all that hard to raise taxes.

Where else is it goingt to come from?

Default 9 Billion?

Easy, we could do it one and have a billion left over. Since they cost the state an estimated 10 billion a year, just get rid of all the illegal aliens. Problem solved.

Restrict the deduction for "Green Energy" investments, as follows.

If a taxpayer invests in something like Solyndra, that is already benefiting from de facto partial ownership by the government, then those investments cannot be deducted.

Kill two birds with one stone.

Taxes, taxes, taxes,,,,,It is the new mantra that trumps real estate's old adage,,Location, Location, location.

Deep in the heart of Taxes!

I am sure the pols can start some campaigns to make additonal taxes attractive to younger workers. Like, Taxes! Its good for you! Protect us from the wrath of global warming and don't forget to eat your broccli,,,,and peas too!

What's silly is people thinking taxes are going to be raised by a yes vote. The schools are buckling down.

I've yet to talk to anyone who is going to vote yes on a big tax hike.

I've yet to talk to anyone who likes Barbara Boxer, but she keeps winning anyway.....

There are plenty of people who think a tax increase is a dandy idea and they are the type of people who always show up at election time and make sure others with like minded views do as well.

California Conundrum: Competing Ballot Measures on Taxes Could Undermine One Another | FDL News Desk

The history of California is that, when competing ballot measures on the same issue appear on the same ballot, it sows voter confusion and leads to a rejection of all of them. This could end up upsetting a clear preference for higher taxes on the wealthy from both the activist and the establishment communities.

But the majority of people here would vote for satan himself before they'd vote for someone with an R after his name.
