Tips would be very much apreciated!
Why? Just curious.

I lived there for a few years, and know others who have lived there for over 30 years.

Redding's population includes a large number of retirees and welfare recipients. Those who have jobs, hang on to them with dear life. Some have to travel out-of-town to feed their families.

The beauty of the area is a big draw, but unfortunately, there is just no work for the masses. Even those with good attitudes.

Well, with craigslist, I found plenty of employers needing help.

You guys are whats wrong with this Country.

That might be the funniest thing I’ve read all day.

Have you really looked at the ads on CL? There’s not many and some of them are already a month old. I highly recommend contacting the Record Searchlight and having them send you a paper copy of the Sunday edition. To say I’m what’s wrong with this country is crazy. I moved over 1800 miles away from Redding, CA to find gainful employment. I also had a vested interest to stay in Redding considering I have family and friends that still live there.

You will want to find a more reliable resource than Craigslist to get a job in Redding.

Right.

You're starting to come across as a troll now. People with personal Redding experience are giving you realistic expectations and you act as though you somehow know more than them. Why would you even come on this board asking questions if you aren't prepared to accept the answers?
