It is a bit amusing that in American culture debating is largely seen as a negative thing, in fact even suggesting that someone may be wrong is treated as a personal attack.
Debating?
With highnlite about the above issue?
That's so silly.

Ummm.....that isn't a debate, its just a brief note about his fake photos....I didn't start the conservation. But I suppose you find commenting on the conservation to be of superior value?

Don't you think you're being a bit hard on yourself?

Sort of reminds me of the Monty Python sketch about arguing.

"No you're just contradicting everything I say".
"No I'm not".

You neglect the essential fact of a time lag. High birthrates and religious cohesion are always a necessary (though not sufficient) precondition of material prosperity, rising levels of education, technoloogical progress, etc. However, low birthrates and religious pluralism/indifference always precede economic and cultural collapse. We are now on the downside of that curve.

LOLz!
It's exactly the other way around!

High birthrates and religiosity are associated with backwardness, poverty, lack of education and so on...

For the record, after showing dear Norcal proof he was wrong again, I asked him twice if he would man up and apologize.

Still waiting.

This thread should be moved to the religions thread. I don't appreciate all the criticism of my religion.
