I have so much more respect for the struggling little churches here in the barrio, such as the one that's trying to raise money to fix its Santa Ana wind-damaged roof. There certainly aren't any garish glass bricks inside that little church, inscribed with the names of people who donated money, as there are at the CC. "God resists the proud but He gives grace to the humble". (James 4:6).

The Crystal Cathedral ministry fell on hard times, and they are selling the cathedral to the Catholics to pay off their debts. The Catholics decided that purchasing this building would be cheaper than building their own.
