There have been many threads and countless posts on CD about the problems that California faces. Much has been said about the reasons for the departure of many productive individuals and businesses. Solutions have been suggested for the repair of our broken state. The article at the link presents perhaps one of the grimmest summaries ever regarding dysfunctional California and the future. There are more than a 100 comments after the article that are worth reading.

A lot of those 16 "reasons" are just repeats of each other, but with slightly different wording.

I do agree that some of the sentiments expressed would make quite a few folks want to find somewhere else to live. However, I could also compile a similar listing for practically any state in the entire union.

All in what your own priorities are. Nobody can state what others would value.

I can think of 77 reasons. I'll let you figure that number out.

I don't give a second of my time to right wing conspiracy-theorist whack-jobs like this guy.

Moving on.

62 paved roads, and far more dirt roads leave this state. I would pay good money to see out bound traffic jams, Mattresses tied to the roofs, chairs and tables hanging out the trunk.

There's no good reason for me to move away. My family's doing really good!! The people that aren't doing great can certainly move away for greener pastures.

If you hate it here / can't cut it here, move tho the midwest, and see how much you like it there.
