I would be concerned with renting to growers, not because of what they legally do... (None of my dang business!)
hint hint---you "Religious Right" wingers that took over the Republican party, are some of the most invasive and oppressive people around...You guys are nothing like Lincoln and what he represented...
Anyway, back to the subject.....
I would be concerned because of damage to the structure, moisture, mold, water damage, strain on electrical system, fire chance increases and so forth...

Back in the day when i worked narcotics we went after landlords for "maintaining a place for the manufacture, use, sale or distribution of illegal substances," or charges to those effects. I'm sure the feds have something similar.
