If one wants to live in the Bay Area, yes, expensive. However, most of CA is a lot less expensive. I live in a desirable part of the State and the median home price is (as of last month) $150K.

While other states have beautiful aspects, none can match California's beauty in terms of diversity.

I would have to agree with you. I have lived in California my whole life, last year I had the pleasure of driving cross country for the first time and the more I saw, the more I realized just how beautiful California really is. I don't take my state's beauty for granted anymore. But I have to admit, our politics suck!!!
