I have shifted to Plumas just two weeks ago. I want to know about genuine interesting and entertaining spots in the area. Give me guidance in the light of your personal experiences. Please don't post a list from internet. Give me names of a few places and also the reason why I should visit/explore those areas.

Snake Lake a few miles west of Quincy on the Bucks Lake Rd. Nice place for a picnic, camping or for hiking around the lake.

Thanks for ideas. I have saved this page on my lap top and will start visiting all these spots (one by one) on each weekend.
