We're 2 out of 3 here in Northern Virginia, which feels more like Southern California every day. I left CA before In-n-Out so don't have that urge. Anyway we've got Five Guys comin' at ya.

One of my favorite old homes! Californication happens if you let it. More's the pity! But who needs In-N-Out when you have Ollie's Trolly?

I'm a heavy duty Californicator. My latest thing is inserting "The" in front of highway numbers. "Take the 66 to Centreville". "Get on the 95 going South".

They don't bother me. Certain transplants *cough*NYC*cough* have a reputation for annoying behavior, but I've made lifelong friends out of even that bunch.

I hate it when those Montana ranchers start moving to Van Nuys with all their stupid cattle in tow and expect us to drop everything and pitch in with their branding round-ups (or whatever the hell it is that they do) at the last minute.

Wouldn't "Out of Country" transplants be more realistic in this day and age?

Down here they are very accommodating to the Latin world, even creating custom grocery stores for the Latin market.

Of course the New Yorkers came down and changed the landscape, suppose California is too big and too far away to have a bagel shop on every corner?

We have latin grocery stores up here too. Reading all of these posts Washington and California seem to have more in common than I thought. Actually, Washington is opening our first In-n-Out sometime this year!
