Never blamed it on anyone else. I realized my mistake within two weeks and was charged over 25% in late fees. I will make sure to deny the state a bunch more of my sales tax revenue for their draconian DMV late fee policy.

You cant do that now as it will ****up the whole system. The DMV states dont redeem sooner than 30 days from your Registration expiration. I know some people who did this a few years ago when the policy went into effect and sent the system into default DEFCON 1.

And well it should self-destruct under those circumstances. The suits are hot and the masks hard to breathe through!

i just recently paid a motorcycle about 2.5 months before it was due (online for what its worth, but just after receiving the letter), and it all worked fine. Got the sticker/reg in the mail 2 weeks later, no problem.

I always receive my registration notice at least 2.5 months prior. So i should get my notice by the 3rd week in august (tags are due mid nov). My tags will be $80.00. Thats up $13.00 from 11/10. The liars, thieves & whores want to raise fees again. UGH!!!

And so do the politicians, but I'm being redundant.

My last car had a due date of 2/28 so naive old me thought with a July sticker it wouldn't be considered late before the end of the month.
It's assumed that you check your mail and take appropriate action on important items at the right time. Obviously, the DMV is always happy to take more of your money; it's your job as an adult to ensure that they don't. Just pay the fine and take better care of this next time.

The registration has been due on the last day of the month for every vehicle I've owned, and it didn't change. The current one was purchased on August 8th. Due date is August 31st.

This is the first time I've heard of registration being due prior to the end of the month.

The politicians are the liars, thieves & whores. Jerry brown is constantly bending over for the legislature. He must go through alot of vaseline.
