There are many very nice cities in the Bay Area.

Here is a link to the long list of cities. Bay Area Cities It is difficult to suggest anyone in particular to you since I don't really know what you are looking for. The cities here are very different than the Woodlands, Sugar Land or Pearland. I prefer living in the Peninsula area since it is close to mountains and the ocean. There is so much beauty in the Peninsula Peninsula travel guide - Wikitravel

Also I am centrally located in the Bay Area which puts me close to the SF area, Oakland area and San Jose area. I prefer being centrally located

I like these cities myself. There are other cities that are great such as SF but I would not want to live in that city. You won't get much bang for your buck there.

There are so many gorgeous places here it would be very difficult to list them all and for you to visit all of them. But this is a good list IMO. There are some very beautiful areas that I have not mentioned because they get foggy windy and cold much of the year. You know how Texans like their sunshine

Sausalito (actually almost the entire North Bay is just stunning in beauty)
Berkeley
Palo Alto
Redwood City
Woodside
Los Altos
Cupertino
Mountain View
Walnut Creek
