Now back to coffee ... that's what this thread was about, wasn't it? Real fuel?
Ehem....... I know a few who can make their own dragster fuel, I prefer their apple pie. not the eatin kind either. Unfortunately its still way more expensive to produce and use versus gasoline. Well until it gets to about 10 bucks a gallon. Then your in the ball park. Its still not as efficient either and requires about 20% more volume for the same power output.

Coffee. The drug that fueled man's Industrial Revolution and Western Expansion. Much to the dismay of native peoples.

On the news they said the speculators had a part in the major spike hikes. Gas should start slowly going down but not till later this week. The last time i got gas was a few weeks ago @ $4.00 a gal. Now its over $4.60.

Local news just reported and Gov. Brown has ordered CARB to allow the release of the winter blend a month early... so prices should come down any day!

I dont blame you one bit. Its very expensive to own a car in ca (tags, smog, ins, maint, gas, etc).. If i didnt need a car for work i would do without. A d/l costs $31.00 for 5 yrs so thats not too bad. If you're a ca resident you must have either a ca id card or a d/l. Thats the law.

State I.D. Never learned how to drive. Now I'm glad I didn't. It's kind of funny the same people who were laughing at me when I told them I can't drive are the same ones watching as I pass them at the gas pump on my bicycle...

Gas in ca is 84 cents above the nation avg. Some people are complaining about the winter blend being available 3 weeks earlier. Screw them !

I can see being proud of not driving. I'm proud that I rarely drive, and proud to bicycle most places I go. But what's the point in being proud not knowing how to drive?
