Everything I've read says "no guarantee" it goes to our kids education unless that means pensions for a under-funded bank account? Prop S?

On a side note Big-5 has a choice of a Colt or HK same price

It seems like every election there a bond initiative "for the schools" and a tax measure, and property tax going up "for the schools."

With all the money we're throwing at them, you'd think we could graduate kids that could actually read, but no, there's more initiatives to fund remedial English and writing classes in all the community colleges.

Classic liberalism. More money should mean better educated kids.

"There are plenty of reasons to vote no and one compelling reason to vote yes...."
I'm voting yes. It's frightening to think about how many more uneducated people will be out there if we don't do something to keep tuition from continuing to escalate at the community colleges, the Cal States and the UC campuses. And anyone with a child in grades K-12 knows that CA public schools have had their budgets slashed in the past decade.
