Do the environmental standards required of cars in CA result in less noxious exhaust than in other states?

Try it and let us know. We'll await your report - for awhile anyway.

At any rate, the exhaust from cars in New Mexico seems ten times worse than any I've inadvertently smelled in CA. It's either the cars or the fact that all gas seems to be 10% ethanol here.

I haven't found a gas station in NM that doesn't "warn" people of the ethanol content at all the pumps.
Maybe it's hard for cars to digest. OR...that sweet blend in CA is so much sweeter.

if you stuck your head in front of the tailpipe it wouldnt matter right? the noxious fumes come out the back if you got a car or bus, out the top if you drive a semi

watch out if you driving thru clear lake tho, all the fumes from that meth theyre cooking is def'ly not good for ya
