wow and I haven't seen a Foster's Freeze in years and years. Even when we left Ca a couple of decades ago they were gone...As a kid, our favorite place to grab ice cream was Foster Freeze. We used to ditch churh, take our contribution quarter or whatever and have a soft ice cream. I am still wondering if God has for
given me for those many Sundays I wasn't really in church...

Dairy Queen just down the street from Fresno State Univ. on Shaw Ave. I know my kid went to Fresno State.

That's in Fashion Fair mall , and is an Orange Julius/DQ. Do you know if it's a full service DQ in there or just a treat station? I don't frequent the malls that much anymore.

I love me some Orange Julius though.

And I figured your kid went to FSU by your screenname, but didn't ask, lol. (Mighta been Georgia though, hehe)

To Nmita: The Fosters Freeze we frequent is in Clovis on Clovis Ave. conveniently enough. And yes I loved their dipped chocolate cones as a kid (still do!)

I have to smile cause I always thought his screen name meant his kid went to GA and I wondered why I never see him post anything about GA Bulldogs....Shows how the mind works when you live in SEC territory even when you are a graduate of SDSU.

The Pollo Loco in Carmel Mountain Ranch has a Foster's Freeze inside it. So apparently they've returned to CA.

We shall meet this season on the gladiatorial field of battle and settle this.

FSU vs SDSU. 2/9 in San Diego (mens basketball).

Go Bulldogs!

Damn, that Habit burger looks good. Going to have to go there now. But I found this article interesting: In-N-Out vs. Five Guys vs. Shake Shack: The First Bi-Coastal Side-By-Side Taste Test

In-N-Out is no slouch, but I will always prefer Shake Shack as far as the burgers go.

Unfortunately we don't have Shake Shack here. We do have an In-N-Out 5 minutes from my house and a 5 Guys 15 minutes from the house. I will have to try Shake Shack on our next visit to NYC.
