People in California had better start caring what Rick Perry and other governors that are out their soliciting California Jobs to go to their state, and start working together to make California more attractive to business so that the jobs do not leave California.

If they don't all your taxes will go up if you are a solid working class or above, to support those that are living in poverty (almost 25% of all Californians). And taxes having to be raised to provide services to the public as tax receipts keep falling. California has serious infrastructure needs that will soon reach the critical point that must have money spent, that will soon have to push up taxes.

Remember your sports teams were stolen from somewhere else, so knowing their history they are ready to go where they can make the most money.

and how did the Dodgers, Giants, Lakers, etc get to California? Didn't they come from somewhere else? Didn't your Rams and mine btw as well, go where the money was?

I honestly don't know why Texas would need anymore pro teams, but if they can support them and Ca isn't, that is what big business is all about: money!!!!!

CA will lose some teams but not necessarily to Texas. Sacramento could most likely lose the Kings to Seattle. The Warriors, and A's are eyeing other Bay Area cities and the 49er's have already moved. The Dodger's Giants and Angels aren't going anywhere and no one wants the Padres. The Raider's are actually trying to find ways to stay in Oakland.

Even though California’s richer residents face high tax rates, lower-income households are more likely to leave. From 2005 to 2011, California lost 158 people with household incomes under $20,000 for every 100 who arrived, and 165 for every 100 people with household incomes between $20,000 and $40,000. In contrast, just slightly more people with household incomes in the $100,000-$200,000 range left than came to California (103 out per 100 in), and California actually gained a hair more people in the $200,000+ range than it lost (99 out per 100 in).

Well, when my family left California in 2008, our household income was about $40,000. This is because my husband's company left California and he became unemployed.

We are now happily relocated to the Midwest and over household income is well over $100,000.

So, yeah. It makes sense. You don't have a job and there are no jobs to be found, so your income is very low. It's not rocket science.

It appears that the ones complaining about Perry doing sport team poaching, think that is wrong, but they think that when California poached those teams in the first place it was O.K.
