Wow. I really liked Carmel and especially Solvang. They are so unique. I also liked Santa Barbara. The weather in California is crazy. I have never seen so many weather changes within a few minutes. While I was driving, the weather was changing from 75 and sunny to 55 and foggy. I drove through Orange County on highway 1 and it was amazing. I am in San Diego now and it looks nice.

I am going to LA next and I want to ask where is the downtown area in Anaheim? Or what is the city in Orange County worth the visit the most.

In OC you want to go to the beach cities. Irvines the biggest business/shopping center, but id go to Newport Beach, Laguna Beach.
Anaheim is all about Disney, u could go to downtown Disney....

So I've decided to skip OC for now. I will visit some other time. I am going to go to Long Beach, Venice Beach, Santa Monica, Hollywood and Beverly Hills. Is there something interesting in downtown LA?

I have done this already and google tells me to go to Disney Land, Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, the Hollywood sign, Universal Studio, places that have nothing to do with downtown LA

That should be your first clue. Unless there is something spectacular happening in downtown LA, it's not worth your time. Visit other places people here have recommended and anyplace else you've always wanted to but never had the opportunity.
