I don't have a garage. Relieves me of any temptation to fill one up. Except the neighbors', when I give stuff away that my son brings home in the pick-up that people have given him to clean out their garage.

Ours is over-sized with built-in storage selves/area. Most of what ends up on them goes into the community garage sale each year. That rids us of what we no longer want or need, garners us a few bucks and clears the decks. Win-win!

Hmmm. I seem to remember a jet ski or two. Plus there's that fridge you have to slide by.

Kudos! He gets it! Now I suppose I should say only CA garages, especially in San Francisco, to be totally on-topic.

One jet ski that was parked here temporarily by my nephew back in 2005. Since his definition of "temporarily" and mine differ, I hauled that sucker down to his parents' rancho in Murrieta last Fall. It is now their problem.

Good lord Curmy, can you believe some cities around the country are regulating "extreme garage sales"?

Can't even sell your own crapola anymore...

Wonder what a zen garage sale entails?
