Good lord, easier to list what isn't on the internet these days...

Bodhi Mind Zen Garage sale.wmv - YouTube

For a second I thought Fontana had some extra perfect Zen for sale:

zen xtra for sale in Fortuna, California Auctions, Estate & Garage Sales classifieds

I guess they have the just right amount of zen going on down there.

The search for perfection is over. The ultimate California dream: a vehicle that carries its own garage wherever it goes.

"Reluctant immigrants"... you're right, hadn't thought of those, although that's also probably a lot of who settled in the Central Valley after the Dust Bowl and the Great Depression, and maybe it even helps explain why that part of the state remains so culturally and politically different from the rest!

No garage for me either. Null, I read you live on a boat part of the year? I have lived aboard in the Bay and delta since the late 60's. Much of the time on the hook for free. California perfection. You remind me of someone. Isleton?

Today, Temps in the low 80's Top down on the Audi TT, cruising through the brilliant green hills, visited two Missions, watched the families herd their kids through the Missions, dad's and mom's explaining the Molinas, and granaries, and burros, and churchy stuff.

Had lunch out side at the Santa Ynez New Frontiers Market.

Drove a riverside road for 15 miles on a Sunday afternoon, saw 4 cars, one moto, and one jogger, and two bicyclists, what's not to like about this? In a California Winter.

Darned close to perfection, although on the drive home it did get cool enough that I thought about putting my sweatshirt on, but didn't...........

Well, I did tell you that my great-grandpa, and 2 grandpas farms had blown away basically. No topsoil so they left Kansas and Missouri.

My mom's dad was 14th child of 17th and least loved boy, so he was already farming the least productive land his mean dad could leave him, sadly. Grandpa was a bit of a rounder in a strict presbyterian family... If only he had bought land in Park City, UT where he stopped first. Or in Ketchum/Sun Valley where his oldest sister Jenny who basically raised him after his mom died tried to convince him to settle in Idaho.

From the beginning of the American period, real estate interests used slick marketing tactics to draw people to the state.

He chose Memphis and we are to respect his judgment? His statement shows an utter lack of knowledge of CA
