Yeah, me too. And I prefer the more "scaled-back" urban skylines myself, like this pic of downtown Nevada City looking up Broad Street, that still looks much the same today as when it was shot in 1955! BTW, from a great collection of American urban landscapes chronicled by Charles Cushman from 1938-1959 (here standing next to his Lincoln Zephyr and the GG Bridge in 1958).

Hey, Fresno number 9. We do have some nice buildings downtown that are on the historical registry. Just not many tall buildings about.

One of our nicer pieces is the Californian Hotel. Italian Renaissance style.
