Cannabis plants don't grow in fog, even though NorCal is the prime area. Most plants are grown indoors, in highly controlled environments. Outdoor plants, now referred to as "field grown" product, is produced far inland in remote areas, where it's sunny and hot and out of sight. Connoisseurs prefer indoor grown; field grown is much less expensive, but may not be as potent.

I am currently a patient of WHTC

Drove out to SF Valley 2011 to expert first hand Medical Cannibas and joined the above linked Dispensary. Passed three months there, was great, no pain-NONE. Great clinic, very compassionate people.

Oakland could work, unless the feds succeed in shutting down the big grower/dispensaries there.
