And this nifty little dissertation relates to unisex bathrooms, how? lol

Nice, nullie. Not terribly relevant, but interesting and entertaining, nonetheless.

Not sure about this ...but one thing that we take for granted in CA is those toilet seat covers... Other states don't always have those in the bathrooms.

Did you even read his post?

There is nothing in it that is illogical. Being progressive for the sake of being progressive is never a good thing for society, as a whole. Instead, change what needs fixing and move on. Making bathrooms unisex in order to make transvestites feel better about themselves is not good for the whole, it's good for transvestites! And last I checked, they are in the very small minority...

And so it's okay with you to treat minorities as lesser beings? Progressives founded this nation and have been responsible for every positive aspect of its evolution. Check your definitions for progressive and conservative. Also check the mandates for equality this nation has based it entire history and future on ...

Your are right, Oops the Liberals could not get the civil rights bill passed without help from... conservative Republicans as not enough Democrats wanted it.

How does Unisex make anything truly equal with different sexes? They are NOT equal they are different and different facilities is treating such differences equally, not favoring one group, such as Transvestites.

Easy solution.

Men's bathrooms
Women's Bathrooms
Transvestite and others who are unsure or wish to be the other sex bathrooms.

Now that is truly being Progressive and giving equal treatment to all.

Fits CA to a "T" and is truly Progressive to boot as CA seems to favor such.

Not sure transsexuals would be okay with that. Many of them contend that it isn't simply that they want to be the other sex, but that they are the other sex, just with the wrong hardware.

Yeah... I know...

I still say we should just give everyone full privacy and be done with it. Do away with stalls and build actual rooms usable by men, women, and heckifyoucantells alike and then no one has reason to feel uncomfortable concerning public restrooms any longer.
