I must say I love Santana Row, though. It seems to get more attention than Downtown SJ.
And how long ago was the last time you stepped foot into Downtown SJ?

And I love Santana Row too To be honest, Santana Row gets more attention than ANY South Bay spots, not just Downtown SJ. The Row is really in a league of its own...

I actually go pretty often, I graduated in 2011 and still go down there from time to time. Bars in Santana Row tend to close earlier than desired(like 1AM) so my friend and I went to downtown San Jose and couldn't find a place to go into that we liked. I also went to the Jazz Festival less than 2 weeks ago.

But I will add that when I used to live in the Concord/Walnut creek area (2011/12) I had friends who wanted to go to SJ to go clubbing, but this was back when club Wet and a couple other clubs were still around, not so much now.

I also have never been to San Diego's downtown. When I was in LA, we were going to their downtown and when we saw it, we just kept driving lol.
