My sinuses are killing me. I've lived in Santa Monica for 38 years and I can no longer take the cold humidity. I can take humidity so long as it's also warm. Besides Palm Springs and areas nearby it, do you know of any area that is dry and mostly warm. Colder is OK so long as its not damp cold. I was thinking of areas near Santa Barbara. Or even futher north, places like Napa.
I'm gay and would want that is gay welcoming with some gay/lesbian presence to prove it. Thanks

Anything along the coast will be humid because of the ocean and resulting marine layer, etc. You have to go inland.

Palm Springs. Way dry, and a large gay culture.

Ojai. Great community, far enough from the coast that there should be considerably less humid.

Anywhere inland. I'm talking about 25 miles + inland. The desert might be a good idea, but remember they have frequent dust storms and dust blowing, so that might affect you too.

...as a sinus sufferer and native boy, move inland; try Pasadena, much dryer, warmer significantly less humidity, gay-friendly; or try Claremont, with the Claremont Colleges, excellent and yet small community, well educated, and VERY dry weather, and gay-friendly!

I mean, Santa Monica although by the ocean is still very dry. The "humidity" you guys talk about out here isn't really "humidity". I've lived in the midwest and Texas...enough said.
