Some states respect the freedom of speech provisions of the Constitutions. Others don't.

Simpler solution, people should keep their sex lives private and not photograph or record them. But let's not get radical and consider so foreign a concept as personal responsibility when it's so much easier to just pass another nanny government law creating a new and possible jail-time offense.

BTW Capitol Daily just pointed out that Jerry was the youngest governor in the country when he was first elected gov. and as of this weekend, will be the oldest. And plans to run for another term! Thank God.

It's a sign of the times, and government is putting a thumb over an issue that impacts people's social and professional lives. There is no problem with maintaining civility in society, or at least trying to. Nobody should be shamed forever because they once dumped an insecure psycho.

And to put the fault on people who photograph or videotape their private moments just makes you a self-loathing prude. Go back to the '50s, please.

Good.

And yes, there is all sorts of time for people to be writing bills on all sorts of issues. You realize that having everyone stare blankly at "whatever problem you feel is worthy" even though they are powerless to do anything isn't an answer, right? The world keeps going and doesn't stop until 'x' is fixed before moving on to 'y'.

If you're responding to me, perhaps you might consider that some have moral and civil standards ad some would never commit a violation of trust. If public exposure of "private moments" is the new normal then I gleefully accept the label of "prude." An attitude of "anything goes" is one small step from a valueless society.
