initally robbing the rich will be wonderful we will mug them and have lots of cash and have us a big party. but if the rich live, they will leave and then you are going to get very cold and hungry like the people of detroit who have been abandoned by the rich. when the rich leave the government has no money source and then you will see how really stingy the government can get.

Has nothing to do with the rich. A rich person who buys in California would benefit from having investors pay the full tax rate on property taxes.

Owner-occupied should always be encouraged. Currently California soaks new home owners.

Unless they happened to buy around 2009-12... these folks got real deals because prices were down and therefore their tax basis...

My aunt and uncle in Illinois would beg to differ. They pay about 6 times what we pay here for property taxes...
