Aren't there more important things to worry about than the racial makeup of this state? If I leave, it won't be because of this nonsense.

It will have to do with all the taxes (with nothing to show for it in terms of our infrastructure), low performing schools, crime rate and increased traffic. It's not hard to put one and one together. Is mass illegal migration from a Third World country the reason for all our problems? Of course not, but to say they don't contribute significantly to a lot of them is really intellectually dishonest. I mean do you really expect child poverty to be low in California? And with such high child poverty, do you expect our schools to be top performing?

You don't have to be racist to see we have a big problem here. It's sad there are so few constructive comments on both sides of the debate.

White Eurpoeans certainly were the most violent. They were better at killing than anyone else.

Wrong. I was part of the 3rd generation of my family on both sides in Humboldt County. Graduated from high school in Fortuna. There is still an avenue named after my family there. My new wife and I left for the Bay Area as well did most of the young people I knew, to go where there was more opportunity. When the flood in 1955 flooded out and destroyed so much there, there was no place to earn a good living.

We bailed out early 1956, and within a year, was earning over $100,000 in today's dollars.

People have been doing that every since, and others have moved in to replace them.

Exactly what is happening today. Middle class, and a lot of companies, are leaving the state, because it no longer has the same opportunities it did in the past.

I remember when California was 88% or so White. Today it is 38% white. As people moved out and were replaced as has been happening in California, the middle class is going, and the poor are coming. It is a change from tax payers, to those need tax paid services. Poor moving in, and the higher birth rate of those moving in, is going to cause a financial crisis in the next few years.

I don't think this demographic reality (and how fast it has arrived) has
truly dawned on many Californians yet. If modern American history is any
indication, it's going to get ugly real fast.
California doesn't have one city like De T Riot Michigan , however this is the United States of America and everyone has the prerogative to pick up and move anywhere they so desire to move to. Now this may sound strange but the only problem I have is wimpy whining folks that won't get out " just hang around whining all of the time " there has to be a way to give them Bus,Train , Plane Tickets or Some- Thing......LOL

Bye bye white people! Sooner or later you will lose entire country to hispanics. Solution to this is to multiply like crazy and do a "white landing" and take back neighborhoods you left.

Learn to speak Spanish. I live in New Mexico, and get along just fine. Really not a big deal.
