The most important thing when starting a business is having customers. Who cares if you can buy a piece of land and not pay state income tax in the boondocks of Nevada if you have no customers. I would rather buy a small store in the heart of say San Francisco, where there are thousands of people WALKING outside my door every day.

To the OP: Don't look for a business partner on City-Data. If anyone agrees to such a plan, I am 99% they are just trying to scam you because no person here with innocent thoughts would partner with a stranger from Germany they met on this forum.
