Yeah, I don't think you actually know what socialism means, you conflate it with state control because of all the misinformation going around, but that's not what it means, socialism just means social ownership of capital assets, like a co-operative. As for what was considered socialist in the past being the status quo now, back in the 50s the tax rate for the highest income bracket was over 90%, taxes are socialist but you probably view it as such. Consider the growing income equality and incidences or corporate welfare, are these things socialist? No it's a result of the state looking after the interests of the capitalist class first while granting a few guidelines to make sure the state keeps it's power and to an extent the corporations do too, because barriers to entry restrict upstart competition.

The fact of the matter that I say it doesn't mean it will ever happen, if you want to blatantly change the subject thats up to you. Californians would sign a petition to take anyones rights away.

Don't forget illegals will vote democrat, and thats why democrats want amnesty for illegals so bad. Those people will bring their values here and alienate the rest of us of our civil rights/liberties.
Illegal immigrants CAN'T vote. Are you really doubling down on continuing to spew ignorant comments?

There is nothing libertarian about California. It's purely liberal except for a few spots.

Depends on where you live in California. The conservative parts don't have the political clout they once did. Also, the descendants of the Orange Countiers who made that place a conservative hotbed probably don't vote Republican anymore. It would be unimaginable that a Bob Dornan, much less a John G. Schmitz, could come from the OC now.
Darrell Issa probably couldn't win a statewide office for anything.

He's just eloquently elaborating on current right-wing concerns, that we may be made more acutely aware of the WI mindset on these critical matters.

Please looky, for our communal benefit, continue to enlighten us .

In some municipalities, you can have a joint as it's a least concern.
