$750 million? Now, you do know what the state annual budget is right? Over $430 billion. So $750 million is 0.0017%. We're gonna squeak by regardless, I'd say

But if we are to believe what we are soaked with on all these threads, then there surely will occur in CA a great battle for free/cheap housing between the devilish "illegals" and the awful homeless vets. Maybe our courageous chicken littles can referee this battle.

Actually, spending a fraction of our money to put a roof over the head of someone who put their life on the line for the rest of us doesn't sound like such a horrible undertaking.

...and someone else just posted this to you in another thread in the past few days. Oh and these figures are 3 years old, you can bet its gone way up again since this last study seeing as how it DOUBLED from $10.5 billion in 2004 to nearly $22 billion in 2011. Not false information at all

No it does not. 9% of the 18% turning out punched Leland Yee. We all know citizens of a certain political persuasion cling to the fantasy voters of this state are disproportionately more clueless than those of any other, but 1.8% of registered CA voters roughly represents the same number of people to whom Yee owes political favor in the form of money, guns or shrimp.

And an old hippie buried Kashari by 35 points.

My point exactly, clueless voters...They either 1) didn't know he was arrested and all the crimes he committed 2) Voted for him anyways because he's a Democrat 3) Voted for him anyways because he's a minority

Yes. Somebody else DID post these same stats the other day. And I debunked them to the point that even that person acknowledged.

You are just being deliberately irresponsible with information.

FairUS, which organization you have linked, is an ultra-right-wing anti-immigration organization that has been labeled a "Hate Group". The true figures on expenditures are less than 40% of what is claimed. And that true amount, after factoring for the tax contributions illegals make to the state, amounts to less than 1.7% of California's annual budget expenditures. I sourced it for you with highly credible information links. You don't bother to read and process the true information because you prefer to spew hate for a minority that costs California actually very little.

And no, the figures haven't "doubled from 2004 to 2011". Especially since the illegal population dropped dramatically starting in 2007 to present. And this reality has been the topic of many news stories and studies that no one obsessed as you are with illegal immigration could possibly have missed.

You also quoted the same poster's use of the figure of "12 million" as California's illegal population - after that poster was corrected that "12 million" is the nation's total illegal population. California's illegal population is 2 million.

I don't support illegal immigration. But I hate lies far worse.

Really? I looked them up and could find no such claims. Please provide links proving they are a hate group and their information is false. Or is that just what all the democrats are telling you? LOL

Sure.

Designation as a Hate Group

In 2007, the SPLC branded FAIR a hate group, stating that:

"The founder, chief ideologue and long-time funder of FAIR [ John Tanton ] is a racist. Key staff members have ties to white supremacist groups, some are members, and some have spoken at hate group functions. FAIR has accepted more than $1 million from a racist foundation devoted to studies of race and IQ, and to eugenics -- the pseudo-science of breeding a better human race that was utterly discredited by the Nazi euthanasia program. It spreads racist conspiracy theories."[1]
Quote:
Criticism[edit]
In December 2007, FAIR was designated a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC). In its declaration, the SPLC gave a detailed accounting of its determination.[27] FAIR has responded to this charge by claiming that there is no factual basis for the accusation;[28] that FAIR has compiled a long record of mainstream credibility and respect on immigration issues and has always opposed discrimination on the basis of race, ethnicity, or religion; and that the accusation is an "act of desperation, resulting from the SPLC’s failure to convince the American people of their viewpoint."[29] FAIR president Dan Stein said of the SPLC, "They've decided to engage in unsubstantiated, invidious name-calling, smearing millions of people in this movement who simply want to see the law enforced and, frankly, lower levels of immigration"[30]

FAIR has also been criticized for accepting contributions from the Pioneer Fund. Between 1982 and 1994, FAIR received $1.2 million from the foundation.[31] The Pioneer Fund focuses on projects it perceives will not be easily funded because of controversial, racial, or pro-eugenics subject matter.[12] It was described by the Sunday Telegraph as a "neo-Nazi organization closely integrated with the far right in American politics" in 1989.[32] FAIR has responded to this criticism by asserting that the Fund clearly states that it supports equal opportunity for all Americans, regardless of race, religion, national origin, or ethnicity; that other major institutions, including universities and medical facilities in the United States and other countries, have also accepted grants from the Fund;[33] and that the Fund's contributions to FAIR were used only for the general operation of the organization.[29]
I already supplied you with accurate figures and sources with links. You ignored them then. Why would you acknowledge them now? Go do your own research. Accurately. That is the whole point.

Every thread on here is filled with mbell spewing right wing rhetoric with nothing to back up his/her claims. Then Tulemutt comes in and pretty much proves him/her wrong. It's entertaining lol
