No breaking point for me. Never moving out of the state again. If it gets too expensive in one town, I can just move to another. I'll be disappointed if that means I have to go into the mountains and deal with snow again, but even that won't get me out of the state ever again. I love my California!

I reached the breaking point years ago. I have 5 more years to retirement and then I am out of here.
They need to change the symbol on the California flag from a bear to an anus. At least that would be an accurate depiction of the average Californian, rude, self centered, ignorant, and full of ......

Yeah, but then we can change it back as soon as you leave, so...might as well leave it alone.

Perhaps your truth and his truth but some 38 million people disagree with both of you.

That's a good thing. I just hope I have a chance to sell out at top dollar before the dolts wise up.

Nah! The bear is the perfect symbol. Some areas get grizzlier by the day while the Legislature would do the state a favor by going into long term hibernation.

I have no intention of moving out of California for at least the next twenty years, which is when I plan to retire at 70 years old. However, once I do retire I may have to move to another state with a lower cost of living so that my retirement money will stretch further. My family has a history of longevity, so I've got to plan to live until at least my mid 90s. That's 20-25 years of being retired. I didn't participate in this poll, because "if it becomes unaffordable" is almost a no-brainer. Unless I'm willing to live in a cardboard box, of course I'd move out of state! "Never moving" doesn't fit, because twenty years from now I'll be looking at other options.

Heck, I don't know. I feel like the proverbial frog in a pot of boiling water. What's another one degree F? Crank it up.
