What do you think are the best cities/areas in California for someone looking for:

- affordable homes ($200k 2bed condo or $300k 3bed home with a yard)
- bike friendly area
- 10 minutes from a "town center" or walkable main street type downtown
- decent parks
- technology jobs within 10 miles
- significant percentage (10%+) of Asian-Americans?

Is this even doable? Sacramento seems to be the front-runner with these criteria.

What's the point in asking? According to you, California is nothing but a welfare state that's going down the toilet.

Well, according to this comment on another thread, this is why she's asking about Asians:

"Generally more asians mean an improvement and more blacks means a decline."

Sacramento is not too prolific with tech. Intel is the biggest show in town. Lots of other places moved or folded long ago.

LOL, well generally more white people means an increase in lawn ornaments, hispanics means an abundance of restaurants serving melted cheese. Which one is a good or bad thing depends on your perspective.

This is one of the contenders for weirdest post of the year.
