If this thread was about the sky falling - or threatening to fall - or could be perceived as threatening to fall by some - umm, it would get LOTS of hits. Why not consider adding the following: "California Ranking Improves Among States - but economic failure, earthquakes, invasion by illegals, graft, drought, and the Delta Smelt are poised to destroy recent gains"?

Positive news isn't going to get any conversation going.

Actually economy is growing but I just speak for Bay Area not whole California

People who tend to focus on the negatives legit have personal issues that no amount of logic could dispel. I wish we could give e-hugs on CD.

I'd prefer to give them e-slaps, because really, until the day a person is wearing adult diapers and doesn't know what year it is, life really isn't that bad.

And when they do get to the point they don't know what year it is life is a new adventure everyday. So - still pretty fun!

Yeah, I used to indulge in people's negativity all the time online, but I don't even like doing that in the real world. Who wants to wake up being convinced that everything is bad all the time?
